Gabigol came on in the second half of the match, at the 44th minute. With a penalty awarded to Flamengo at the 43rd minute after a technical foul, the number 99 grabbed the ball and didn’t hesitate. With confidence high, the striker thus shook the net and celebrated enthusiastically.
After scoring the goal, Gabigol took off his shirt and celebrated with Flamengo fans. The striker even shouted “I’m here”, highlighting that he remains with Mais Querido and available for the upcoming games. As a result, the player received a yellow card.
