Escalação definida no Rubro-Negro
The midfielder Nicolás De La Cruz is back in the team and will start, as reported by Bolavip Flamengo page. But coach Tite decreed three new features in the team against the Uruguayans.
According to journalist Julio Miguel Neto, Léo Ortiz will be kept in the number 5 role and Chilean Erick Pulgar is benched from the starting lineup. Guillermo Varela and Ayrton Lucas will also be on the bench.

The number 3 arrived at Mengão to play as a center-back, but with Tite having problems in midfield, he was used as a midfielder and was approved in that role. Pulgar also declined in production.
In the full-backs, Wesley will play on the right and Alex Sandro on the left. In the attack, after the injury of Luiz Araújo, the Ecuadorian Gonzalo Plata will play on the left and Bruno Henrique remains in the center-forward role.
The probable lineup for Flamengo vs Peñarol is as follows: Rossi; Wesley, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro; Léo Ortiz, De La Cruz, Arrascaeta and Gerson; Bruno Henrique and Gonzalo Plata.
News about Gabigol heats up behind the scenes
Flamengo news suggests that Tite demands more commitment from Gabigol in daily practices and the player does not fit into his style of play. The number 99, in fact, trained separately from the squad with pain and became a doubt against Peñarol.
